Chef and owner Arthur Gordon of The Irregardless Cafe in Raleigh, NC wrote this wonderful book that has been a go-to for me since I was first learning to cook. Published in 1982, it's been a wonderful resource for me for many years. Gordon began cooking eco-friendly, vegetarian food in the mid-seventies in North Carolina. The book is mostly vegetarian and international. It's similar in tone and style to the Moosewood books.
