California Sol Food is a love letter to San Diego. The organizational structure is uniquely arranged around meal times, and includes brunch, tea, happy hour and, my favorite, midnight snack. The book includes regional classics such as fish tacos and pays homage to the bounty of fresh fruits and vegetables we have available year round. I will admit that I'm partial to this book not only because I was involved in the development, but because I've called San Diego home for over 20 years now. This is one of those cookbooks you read in bed at night, and makes a great hostess gift. |
