- Thanks--I know it sounds silly to go crazy for such a simple rice dish, but I make it again and again....No likes Can’t Like Unlike Like No likes
- Thanks so much! I am kind of a Le Creuset nut--the colors really send me and even my non-cook husband thinks there's just something so beautiful and French about them.

I'm the author of the Bonne Femme Cookbook, and a huge fan of the Le Creuset Braiser. I've posted a lot of info about this....and no, I am not compensated by Le Creuset for this. I simply think it's a great tool
However, it is very heavy (as someone already suggested). And I do see a few chips in the outer enamel, after about 5 years of heavy use. For some reason that doesn't bother me—I consider them badges of honor that I'm using the dickens out of this beauty.
If you're interested, I've posted a lot of info about the Le Creuset Braiser here.

Thank you, MVO and iValleria for your kind comments on my book. Sorry about the lack of photos, iValleria, but I think the cute little line drawings help make up for that! I also have a lot of photos of the recipes on my blog,http://chezbonnefemme.com, so you can get an idea of the simple-yet-life-enhancing appeal of the recipes. Thanks again for your posting.
- Any-Night Baked RiceI wrote the cookbook, and I'd love to share one of the recipes that I make most often from it. I guarantee that once you make this rice, you'll make it again and again for the rest of your life.
