I'm not sure why I'm such a sucker for baking books, because truth be told I'm not much of a baker. Maybe it's the fantasy or the potential of what's possible. This book I bought the minute after I sunk my teeth into one of Matt Lewis's coffee cake muffins that I bought in Charleston after stumbling upon the shop. It was my lucky day. I loaded up a box of goodies to bring home and immediately bought the book, which I've used with satisfaction on several occasions.
