- 1707Anything made with Hangar One Chipotle Vodka is destined for greatness. It takes cucumbers, ginger, lemon and Pimm's to temper the flame. No likes Can’t Like Unlike Like No likes1 comment | Add a comment
- Jonny Raglan's Unnamed Cocktail. Not on the menu, but written up in SF Weekly: http://blogs.sfweekly.com/foodie/2010/07/gran_classico_an_ancient_lique.php. It's basically a modified Manhattan, but the complexity of Gran Classico really wakes it up. Plus, it's fun to watch the bartenders light the citrus twists' oil over the glasses. No likes Can’t Like Unlike Like No likes
- Japanese breakfastI get sick of brunch options in this town. The Japanese breakfast is a refreshing change -- a nice piece of tender black cod with crispy skin, fragrant rice with fried wild nori, pickled veggies and an amazingly soft egg. That's how I want to start the day.No likes Can’t Like Unlike Like No likes

We had the pleasure of joining a large group in their upstairs dining room for a massive, custom-ordered Chinese New Year feast orchestrated by a native Mandarin speaker. There were several very traditional Hakka dishes that required 24+ hours preparation time, like Phoenix Rising Soup, a whole chicken stewed in a cow's stomach. Everything was fabulous, and I'm sure that even their regular menu must pass muster.
- Xiao long baoNot many dim sum places in/near Chinatown have Shanghai dumplings. No spoons here -- the dumplings come in little tin cups -- but they taste like the real deal, full of green onion and ginger. No likes Can’t Like Unlike Like No likes
